Halloween

We went out Trick or Treating on Tuesday night for about an hour. Lucas went with his two friends, Lucian (1 year three months) and Axel (2 years 7 months). As Axel had already done this before, he was the expert. He was also very excited about the candy and continually repeated, "candy?" when we were at the door. Lucas didn't know where the candy was going to come from, but knew enough to get excited. The first door that we went to, he tried to go into the people's house. This happened a few times, but eventually he got the idea that the point was to wait for them to offer, then choose something to take and put it in your bag. He was VERY possessive, although he didn't try to eat any of the candy, unlike poor Lucian, who had to go home eventually b/c he wanted to eat his candy NOW. Everyone had a great time!

Bye Bye O-As!

Lucas and I on the bridge over a stream, where he was collecting all of the fallen leaves, then dropping them into the water, waving, and screaming "Bye Bye O-A." (He doesn't say the "j" sound in "hoja".) This went on for 15 minutes before we could cross the bridge and get to the park.

Lucas gets a table

Lucas got his own table for art and inviting friends over. He inaugarated it on Saturday, when Axel came over to eat. Much fun was had by all. We learned that instead of sitting two toddlers across from eachother, as pictured, they need to sit next to each other, so that one pushes toward the wall. Sitting across from eachother created a constant tug of war.
