Sebastian at 4 days...

Sebastian nació el 8 del Febrero a las 8:42 PM en el hospital del Carolina del Norte por parto normal. Pesó apenas 4.66 kilos. Nicole pujó solo 15 minutos para parir la pequeña bestia.



Sebastian was born on February 8th at 8:42 PM at Carolina Women’s Hospital. He was 1 week and 6 days overdue, and mother was ready for him to be born. In 15 minutes, Nicole was able to push out all 10 pounds 4.4 ounces. He is a health newborn, with no cone head, but excessively peeling skin. As could be expected for his size, he’s already a champion eater.







Este mañana, Omi, la abuela alemana, trajo a Lucas a conocer a su nuevo hermano en el hospital. Lucas espontáneamente empezó a besarlo y abrazarlo y cuando vino la enfermera a buscar a Sebastian para hacer algunos estudios, Lucas no se lo quería dar.

This morning, Lucas’s grandmother brought him to the hospital to meet Sebastian. Lucas was immediately affectionate with his brother and stood on the bed and leaned over the basinet wall to kiss him. He wanted to hug and hold him, and when the nurse came to get Sebastian for some tests, Lucas told her that he didn’t want the baby to leave. We will leave the hospital tonight and hopefully get a decent rest in our own beds.

Lucas got a new friend--his ostrich puppet Rosie. He seems to have a lot of respect for her opinion. She has sensitive ears and doesn't like loud voices or whining, which Lucas takes very seriously. He likes to talk to her after school.

Lucas's Omi arrives

Lucas was thrilled to get up on Thursday and find his grandmother had come from Germany. We all took him to school on Thursday morning.
